I recently read an article about the newborn must haves to survive the first 100 days. Of course there were diapers, swaddles, nose Friedas, baby creams, nipple creams, bottles, wipes, and almost everything you could think of except two things. The first of course would be an experienced newborn photographer. Someone to capture those precious few days of life because they are only little for so long. Someone who is trained, knowledgeable, and someone whose photos you enjoy looking at and can envision on your walls.
The second, is the baby shusher! For all you SLP newborn clients, you know exactly what I’m talking about! This things is a miracle worker! It has a timer for 15 or 30 minutes and constantly shushes like a human would. I do think someone recorded themselves shushing and this was the result. Anyway, top #2 thing to survive the first 100 days (#1 is love of course!) is the baby shusher. I have had parents buy this beautiful contraption while in the studio, amazon prime they have it in 1-2 days! So here it is: https://www.amazon.com/Baby-Shusher-Sleep-Miracle-Soother/dp/B00D2JN87I/ref=asc_df_B00D2JN87I/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=198101723026&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17070393896302377465&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9002447&hvtargid=pla-358298711698&psc=1
Anyway, the shusher kinda worked on Cole - ish. Without further ado, here are my favorites from the session!
Isn’t he cute?
